AK Interactive Gouaches Dry Mud 20ml. (AKG06)

Dry Mud is AK's gouache for mud that's already dried and caked on — a grittier, paler tone than Dark Earth, made for splatter and buildup rather than smooth streaking. Flick or stipple it on for a splattered mud effect, or thin it for a lighter crust, and it stays workable with water while still wet.

• Splatter effects on hulls and wheel arches
• Caked mud on tracks, wheels and boots
• Layered mud buildup over Dark Earth

An old, stiff brush is your friend here — flick it from the bristle for genuine-looking splatter rather than painting it on smooth.

Matt, water-based gouache in a 20ml tube. It layers well with the rest of AK's weathering powders and paints for a full mud effect.
