AK Interactive Oxidizing Agent 18ml (AK11268)

Oxidizing Agent is the effect that turns a flat metallic base coat into genuinely aged, corroded metal — brush it over bronze, copper or similar finishes and watch verdigris and rust bloom in front of you. No airbrushing needed, just patience and a decent brush.

How to use

• Apply over a fully dry metallic effect paint, such as Bronze Effect
• Brush on unevenly for a natural, patchy corrosion pattern
• Leave to react, checking progress and adding more for heavier oxidation

It's a proper reaction, not a glaze, so no two applications ever look quite the same — exactly what you want on aged bronze or copper.

Supplied in an 18ml bottle. It's made to work with AK's metallic effects like Bronze Effect, so keep a bottle of that on the bench too, or explore the rest of the weathering effects range for more ageing tricks.
